Why soaking and sprouting?
Soaking and sprouting nuts, grains, and seeds mimics nature’s natural process to unlock their full nutritional potential. In their raw state, these foods contain enzyme inhibitors and anti-nutrients like phytic acid, which protect them in the wild until ideal growing conditions arise. By soaking them, we initiate the germination process, which breaks down these protective substances and enhances digestibility and nutrient absorption. Essentially, soaking and sprouting helps neutralize toxins and improve the bioavailability of essential vitamins and minerals, making the food more nourishing and easier for the body to process.
